Fatamorgana is Italian for the shimmer on a hot road — the thing you keep walking toward. We make the wearable version: honest cloth, unhurried proportions, nothing that asks to be handled carefully.
Why we exist
Menswear tends to arrive in two flavours: cheap enough to throw away, or expensive enough to be afraid of. We build for the space in between — clothes you can wear hard, repair easily, and keep for years.

Materials
Four fibres, chosen once and kept
We would rather go deep on a handful of materials than chase a new one every season. Each is traceable to a mill we have stood inside.
Cotton
Organic and transitional cotton from two mills in Portugal and one in Japan, chosen for how they finish a garment rather than for the certificate alone.
Linen
European flax, triple-washed. Linen is the most honest hot-weather cloth there is, and the least tolerant of a bad cut.
Wool
Recycled wool from Italian and Portuguese spinners, blended for density rather than softness. It should hold a line for a decade.
Hardware
Corozo buttons, solid brass buckles, YKK zips. Every part is standardised so we can post you a replacement.

Shipping
Orders leave the studio within one working day. Free tracked delivery over $150, flat $9 below. Two to five working days worldwide, carbon-neutral via a certified offset.
Returns
Sixty days, worn or unworn. We pay the return label and refund to the original payment method within three working days of receipt.
Size guide
Our house fit is regular through the chest with a slightly shorter body. If you are between sizes, take the smaller one on shirts and the larger on outerwear. Full measurements sit on every product page.
